Data Sharing Methods

Face-to-face meetings

Data Summary33% of the students completed the assignment an "adequate" level or above.

50% of the students failed to complete the assignment adequately.

16% (one student) failed to complete the assignment at all.
Analysis SummaryThis is a small class, and the analysis is informal, and quantified minimally. Clearly, there is a need either for clarification of the assignment, instruction on how to successfully choose a topic and present, or motivate students to complete the work.
Next Steps PlannedNext semester I will clarify on the first class meeting the importance of the assignment, detail the requirements, then follow up with a 'check-in' at the mid-term meeting with each student individually.
Learning OutcomesOutcome "D", as described above.
